OBLITERACY PUBLIC BETA 2

(v. 1.0.61 desktop, 1.0.74 mobile)

The beta continues apace, with a few minor bug fixes, some extra polish, and a bit of balance. If Beta 2 runs smoothly, we'll be looking at an official release soon!

Also in this version but you can't see it yet: Steam support! Once Obliteracy is released, you'll be able to add Obliteracy to your Steam library and use your Steam account to make purchases in game!

POLISH AND GENERAL CHANGES:

* Desktop/Web: general performance enhancements
* Steam integration: achievements and microtransactions
* Improvements to the dialog windows: faster text, pre-wrapped lines, gentle fade-in, and a "hurry up" mode that skips animation on double-clicks
* Added achievement tile icons to achievement notifiers & databank
* Mobile: Fixed graphics in Belo intro (propulsion trail)
* Mobile: Fixed graphics in Theobard intro (CRT-off effect at end)
* Fixed issue with Gideon++ mecha constantly kicking up dust in ready stance
* Fixed font issue in Theobard intro
* Copy editing, typo eradication
* Fixed issue where info/dictionary panel forward button was hidden behind back button
* Adjusted full-size back and forward square button style for better viewability
* Added more effects to mecha animations
* Updated Sabine's weapon blast effect
* Updated Othebard's attack effect
* Mobile: changes to how ad rewards are handled
* Mobile: fixed issue where buttons could fire on scrolling events
* Mobile: fixed vertical positioning of character title screens
* Mobile: fixed issue where character icons were not appearing in databank
* Fixed issue where help system could block game on new account login
* Fixed issue where game intro would continue to autoplay on launch after it had already been viewed once
* Mobile: Fixed issue with incorrect wide button icons

BALANCE CHANGES:

* MEL's Primal Scream skill no longer gains energy when used
* MEL's Primal Scream skill fully drains MEL's energy when used
* MEL's Primal Scream skill word damage increased from 200% to 250%
* MEL's energy cap has been reduced from 10,000 to 9,000
* Perplexcity MP/Quick Match board initial health reduced from 200% to 100%
* Perplexcity 2 MP/Quick Match board initial health reduced from 200% to 150%
* Reduced Single Player Gideon v. Gnollizc starting health from 60% to 40%
* A Quick Match forfeit now reduces Challenge Level as if it were a loss

SERVER CHANGES:

* Added mobile ad reward management

KNOWN ISSUES:

* Mobile: game music plays over in-app ads
* News overlay will occasionally persistently pop up upon new account creation/login >:O
